Mike Dirnt plays bass guitar for Green Day. Mike was born Michael Pritchard, on May 4, 1972. Mike's mother was a heroin addict. At the young age of seven, his adobtive parents divorced. Mike met Billie Joe in the cafeteria and they talked about music, and from that day have been best friends. Mike later rented a room on the side of Billie Joe's house at one point during high school. Mike married his girlfriend Anastasia in August of 1996, they had their daughter Estella-Desiree in April of 1997. Mike and Anastasia have seperated. Mike is still very good friends with her and says his daughter is his hero. Mike has played in other bands such as Screeching Weasel and Corrupted Morals. Mike also plays bass in his side band the Frustrators, who will soon be signing with Adeline Records. Adeline records is co-owned by Billie Joe.
